Family Reunion Schedule
Join us for the 2025 Velasquez Family Reunion, where we will share the schedule of events, activities, and important details to ensure a memorable gathering for everyone.
Event Timeline
Fri., Aug. 1st
5 pm – Check-in Table opens
5 pm – Welcome Reception (Riverside Sandstone Terrace & Fireplace Foyer) Deli platter, keg of beer, and a cash bar.
Sat., Aug 2nd
Breakfast – On Your Own (Hotel guests get free breakfast in the Aspen room)
10 am – Check-in Table reopens (Foyer)
10 am – Auction Table Setup
11 am – Family Stories (Contact us to schedule a time for your story or demonstration. John V will record.)
11:45 am – Family Tree Presentation and updates. (Dan)
12 pm – Lunch is on your own.
1:30 pm – Bring board games to play with family. Velcro Darts, Cornhole etc.
2:30 pm – Kids activities (Kat), volunteers needed.
4:30 – 5 pm – Family Picture Group Photo. Don’t be late!
5:00 pm – Possible Zoom Call with family unable to attend.
5:30 pm – Dinner (Hawaiian Buffet – paid in advance)
7 pm – Talent Show (Sign up with Dan Elijio Velasquez)
8 pm – Auction (bring items to auction off to help pay for next reunion)
After Auction – Karaoke
11 pm – Need to leave the conference room.
Sun., Aug 3rd
9 am – Family Meeting – Cinnabar Room (will choose next family branch to plan the next reunion)
10 am – Prayer Service
11 am – Hotel Checkout time

Yes, there is a nominal fee to attend the reunion, which helps cover the costs of food, activities, and venue. Details will be provided on the Registration Page.
Will there be accommodations available for attendees?
Yes, we have partnered with the Riverside Hotel to provide discounted rates for attendees. Make sure to book by June 30th, 2025 and tell the Hotel that you are coming for the Velasquez Family Reunion to get discounted rates. If you book your room after June 30th, discounted rates cannot be guaranteed.
